Porto: a health app for more than 2 million people

Health insurance is where people arrive with a problem and very little patience. Designing there means a decision carries regulatory risk, not only aesthetic preference.

NPS up and service cost down on the redesigned journeys, inside a regulated product.

What I did

• Led the full redesign of the Porto Saúde mobile app, directly impacting more than 2 million active users.
• Redesigned the home, search and claims journeys, which are exactly the ones people use on their worst day.
• Ran research, usability testing and A/B testing to validate hypotheses before spending development cycles.
• Contributed to design system evolution and governance, standardizing components across platforms.
